Pros

Squarespace's design capabilities allow for all the customization I need, but auto-correct small things like alignment and formatting.
I absolutely love the templates that Squarespace offers, simple and elegant just as a professional might make it.
Great tool for when you want to build a website on your own, but don't know how to code.
Able to set up, design, modify, change on the fly, and develop a website that works for you. It is connected with Unsplash for a wide variety of images as well.
The speed at which I can create a website without involving any complex domain, email, or analytics setups is impressive.
Squarespace has a drag and drop feature that makes web design easy peasy.

Cons

Sometimes it can be difficult to change the default design for each element (like padding) without going into code (only business and eCommerce plans can change code).
Squarespace is missing a lot of font options.
The navigation around Squarespace can be a little clunky.
The site builder is definitely more intensive. It occasionally lags, and it's slightly too easy to accidentally go back a page and lose everything.
I think that it's extremely confusing how Squarespace works with so many different 3rd party payment provider companies.
It requires a business plan to get powerful features such as custom code.
