Pros

  • Interface Balance between complexity/simplicity is good.
  • A very generous free plan and cheap yearly price to upgrade.
  • Very happy with the Bitwarden password management platform. It is quite user friendly and easy to set up. It has an advanced security methodology acknowledged via a third party security auditing firm.
  • The platform allows you to use random passwords across various accounts such as a bank, email, social media, and other major accounts without fear of forgetting a password.
  • Bitwarden also offers the possibility to import and export passwords like: 1Password, Chrome, Enpass, Firefox, Opera, Vivaldi, Gnome / Seahorse, KeepassX and 2, Lastpass.

Cons

  • The one thing I dislike about the Bitwarden Mac app is that the Safari extension does not automatically populate the username and password fields when I visit a site for which I have a saved login. LastPass did this with ease.
  • I guess keyboard shortcuts would be nice though.
  • Bitwarden's windows application cannot be used to auto-fill but that doesn't make a difference for me since I use browser extension of Bitwarden for auto-fill feature
