Pros

Element has given us the ability to have continuous and free instant messaging without having to see everyone's replies and read through the whole conversation to catch up.
I love the interfaces they are very clean neat and to point alongside being customizable.
Element is easy to understand and incorporate into your daily work.
We can implement the customer interface, as per requirements easily and in addition to reports can made easily & feedbacks

Cons

Setting up a server may be no that easy, and sometimes there is communication issues with the secure keys changing constantly
It is a little difficult to manage multiple Riot accounts on mobile app
It has certain bugs on Android that can be worked upon
