Pros

  • Having a nice visual for each feed gives a great lay of the land on what is queued up in your pipeline of posts.
  • This platform keeps check and manages all the engagement-related activities to improve the content quality, engagement, and even follow up with different messages and comments.
  • I like being able to schedule my posts for multiple social media accounts all in one place. I can then schedule these posts for future dates.
  • The customizable dashboard is one of its best features.
  • Hootsuite allows me to send multiple social media campaigns to increase brand awareness, drving website traffic, increasing sales, and generate lots of revenue for the organization.
  • I like that Hootsuite is browser-based, so I was able to work on it during my company's recent WorkFromHome furlough.

Cons

  • I'd love to be able to schedule multiple posts on the same page vs starting each one from the calendar.
  • Hootsuite's interface is one of my biggest frustrations.
  • In reality, you can't post the same post across platforms if you tag a person or an organization.
  • I will randomly have difficulty tagging other pages in my posts. I'll type out their name and nothing will pop up.
  • Setting it up isn't as user-friendly as I would like. It was confusing setting up my different searches to track hashtags.
