Pros

  • Ahrefs allows us to do competitor researches with the highest quality, discover new opportunities to insert links, and deliver content materials around the web.
  • Ahrefs provides an incredible free tool called the "Website Authority Checker," which gives anyone the ability to check the current domain ranking of any website.
  • Ahrefs insights can help us to improve SEO, get more traffic, and capture business leads.
  • Ahrefs provides detailed keyword research with volume, CPC, and all other details.
  • Ahrefs is very much useful for companies looking for building links.
  • The content explorer feature is beneficial for a smaller company like us wherein we do not have experts to help us with content ideas daily.

Cons

  • The support staff is very rude. They will be very blunt and will not care about the customer.
  • The pricing of Ahrefs is very expensive. We cannot afford to buy the same for the entire year. We buy the tool once every quarter.
  • Site explore is not reliable for enterprise websites. There is a difference of 10x traffic when it comes to comparing traffic shown by site explorer & Google search console.
  • The only thing that is not good in Ahrefs is that it has a very steep learning curve.
  • Pricing is a bit high for more than pro and should be based on consumption IMHO.
